Latest Naturist News Hundreds bare all for naked fun run Dedicated Vancouver naturists turned out at the Canadian city’s famous nude beach last weekend to take part in the 12th annual Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run. The 5km run aimed to raise funds and publicity for the Wreck Beach Preservation Society. Spokeswoman Judy Williams said the event was held for people to “celebrate their bodies and the joy of Wreck Beach and the joy of social naturism”. The society has also been working to fight the development of buildings on top of the cliffs above the beach. Its concerns also include cliff erosion, potential impact on bird populations, the privacy of nude sunbathers on the beach and the view from the beach itself. Last year, the American Association for Nude Recreation listed Wreck Beach as a “nirvana” for naturists, and it was ranked second on an international listing of clothing-optional beaches. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ ‘Naked Facebook’ launched A new social networking website aimed at naturists has been set up by a group of people from Manchester.Riding the current wave of Facebook-mania, the group behind Skinbook believe it is the ideal time to try to pull together the biggest genuine nudist/naturist community on the internet.
